Our Take

Unity's official plugin is for Unity 6+ developers who already work through a coding agent. It now ships for Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build, which Unity added as the third agent. All three get the same 30+ skills written by Unity's own feature teams, covering UI Toolkit and uGUI, 2D, URP and Shader Graph, physics, IAP, multiplayer, web and localization. Because Unity maintains them from one repository, a team mixing agents gets the same Unity guidance from each. Setup is one terminal command. Source
